Asur Season 2 Review
Asur is a crime thriller web series created by Gaurav Shukla. The first season of the show was released in 2018 and was a critical and commercial success. The second season of the show was released on March 31, 2023.
Asur season 2 picks up where the first season left off. The show follows the story of Nikhil Nair (Barun Sobti), a CBI officer who is investigating a series of murders that are linked to a mythological cult. The cult is led by a man named Asur (Arshad Warsi), who believes that he is the reincarnation of a demon.
The second season of Asur is just as dark and suspenseful as the first season. The show does a great job of blending mythology with real-time. The performances by the cast are also top-notch. However, the second season of the show does suffer from a lack of attention to detail. There are several plot holes and inconsistencies that make it difficult to suspend disbelief.
Overall, Asur season 2 is a good show. It is well-acted and suspenseful. However, the lack of attention to detail does detract from the overall experience.
Here are some of the things that I liked about Asur season 2:
* The performances by the cast are top-notch. Barun Sobti and Arshad Warsi give two of the best performances of their careers.
* The show does a great job of blending mythology with real-time. The way that the show weaves together ancient texts and modern-day events is very impressive.
* The show is suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Here are some of the things that I didn't like about Asur season 2:
* There are several plot holes and inconsistencies that make it difficult to suspend disbelief.
* The show is a bit too long and could have been trimmed down by a few episodes.
* The show's climax is a bit anticlimactic.
Overall, I would recommend Asur season 2 to fans of crime thrillers and mythology. However, I would also warn them that the show is not without its flaws.
